A model of Muslim charity, Cairo-- the Egyptian city on a hill

Watching this video, I couldn't help but think of John Winthop's City on a Hill speech, "A Model of Christian Charity". I am a secret speech nerd, and that speech is one of my favorites.

In this speech, as the voyagers on the Arbella stare out at their new land, Winthrop asserts to them the following: "For we must consider that we shall be as a city upon a hill. The eyes of all people are upon us."

Cairo is now the city upon the hill, for the whole world but especially the developing world. Way to go, guys. Way to do it your way.
