We figured out how to turn our fireplace into a cooking device. So far we've roasted chestnuts. Grilled cheese is next. Ultimate challenge: steak (both finding it and cooking it).
Finally managed to open the door of my terrace off my bedroom. I get wireless and electricity out here, it's shady, and it's heaven. I spent an hour this afternoon listening to moth podcasts and drinking tea. Doesn't get much better.
It's a beautiful sunny day out so I got to hang my laundry on the roof. I love hanging laundry outside, both the act of it and the crisp, delicious smelling result.
Oh! I bet you could improvise a Hobo Stove out of your stuff too!
